MuseumsQuartier

One of Europe's largest cultural complexes - Leopold Museum, mumok, Kunsthalle, Enzi loungers in the courtyard.

About this sight

The MuseumsQuartier in the 7th district opened in 2001 inside the former imperial stables. At around 90,000 square metres it is one of the largest cultural complexes in the world. The site includes the Leopold Museum with the world's largest Schiele collection, mumok (Museum of Modern Art), Kunsthalle Wien, the Architekturzentrum Wien and the ZOOM children's museum. The courtyards are free to enter and have become a popular hang-out thanks to the colourful „Enzi" loungers.
