For families and stays of three nights or more, the combination of kitchen, washing machine and space beats almost any hotel room at this price. If you expect hotel service, look elsewhere - this deliberately is not a hotel.

The Sobieski Town Apartments are on Pramergasse in Alsergrund, the ninth district - a quiet residential quarter north of the center. The Servitenviertel with its cafés, restaurants and cobbled charm around the Serviten church is about five minutes on foot, as is the U4 station Roßauer Lände. The U4 puts you at Schwedenplatz in the heart of the old town within a few stops. From the airport, take the CAT or S7 to Wien Mitte and change to the U4 towards Heiligenstadt. Evenings in the neighborhood are calm - for dinner, head to the nearby Servitenviertel.
