Location & getting there

Hotel Zisper is in Leopoldstadt, the 2nd district - the green, colourful part of Vienna between the Danube Canal and the Danube. The Prater with its Ferris wheel, playgrounds and wide meadows is within walking distance, as is the U1 station Praterstern, from which Stephansplatz is only a few minutes away. The Karmelitermarkt and Augarten are in the same district and worth a detour. From the airport, take the CAT or S7 to Wien Mitte and continue by metro - with kids and luggage, that's the least stressful way in.

Who is it for?

Zisper is the obvious pick for families: owner-run, with family rooms in several layouts, an on-site play area and breakfast from the hotel's own bakery - plus the Prater around the corner. From about 99 euros, that's very fair value for a child-friendly hotel in this location on the Vienna market. If you come by car, reserve one of the limited parking spots in advance. The hotel is less suited to design-oriented couples or business guests needing conference facilities - other districts have better-matched addresses for that.
