Its trump card is the U4 within walking distance: five stops one way puts you in the centre, while the other direction takes you straight to Schönbrunn Palace - it's hard to plan a sightseeing day more efficiently. The Naschmarkt is also walkable, and Mariahilfer Straße with its shops is in the same district. From the airport, take the CAT or S7 to Wien Mitte and change directly onto the U4 towards the hotel.

A hotel for bargain hunters with a packed sightseeing schedule: from about 85 euros, the Tourotel is among the cheaper addresses in town, and thanks to the U4 you lose no time getting around.
