About this sight
The Millennium Tower stands on Handelskai in the 20th district of Brigittenau, directly on the Danube. Built 1997 to 1999 to designs by architects Gustav Peichl, Boris Podrecca and Rudolf F. Weber, at 171 meters it is one of Austria's tallest high-rises. The lower floors house the Millennium City shopping mall; the upper floors are mostly offices and apartments.
