Location & getting there

Andaz Vienna Am Belvedere stands in the Quartier Belvedere, the new neighbourhood around the main station in the third district. The station itself is just a few minutes on foot - one of the most practical hotel locations in the city for rail travellers, and from the airport you arrive at the main station directly by train. The Belvedere with its world-famous Klimt collection is within walking distance, and the view of the palace comes free with a drink at the Aurora skybar. From the main station the historic centre is a quick ride away, and the dense rail and subway network makes day trips easy too.

Who is it for?

The Andaz suits business travellers with a design sensibility, weekend city-breakers and anyone who prefers modern architecture, a pool, a spa and a skybar over historic ambience. From around 260 euros a night it is also one of the most accessible five-star entry points in the city - well below the grand hotels on the Ringstraße. Rail travellers benefit especially from the location at the main station. If, however, you want to step from your room straight into the lanes of the old town or breathe imperial flair, the first district is the better choice - the Quartier Belvedere is new, not historic.
