Location & getting there

The Hotel Terminus sits directly opposite Westbahnhof in Mariahilf - it takes less than two minutes on foot from the platform to your room. With the U3 and U6 you have two subway lines at the door, whisking you to Stephansplatz or other districts in no time, and Mariahilfer Straße starts practically around the corner. From the airport, take the CAT or S7 to Wien Mitte and change to the U3 towards Westbahnhof - one of the simplest arrivals in the city. Drivers can use the public garage at Westbahnhof for a fee.

From around 95 euros a night you get solid three stars with unbeatable proximity to the station - clearly in the affordable mid-range of the Vienna market. Ideal for rail travellers, short stays and business guests catching a morning train on to Salzburg or Linz. It also works perfectly as a practical base for a single night before travelling on. For a romantic Vienna holiday, or for travellers who want old-town flair right outside the door, the area around Westbahnhof is not the first choice.
